Boomer Paper Piecing

I am not sure how I like it yet but it is a start. Most people are being very kind with their comments. We will have to see what Boomer himself thinks. Boomer is the Mascot of the SPHL Columbus Cottonmouths Hockey Team and a copyrighted character. Likeness used with permission.

Orange Cheesecake Squares

I adapted a recipe from

1 16.5 oz roll of refrigerator sugar cookie dough
2 Tablespoons orange zest
2 8 oz packages of cream cheese soft
1/4 cup of sugar
1/2 cup sweet orange marmalade
1/4 teaspoon orange extract
2 eggs

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Press cookie dough on the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 13x9x2 glass pan. Sprinkle evenly with orange zest.

In a medium bowl beat cream cheese, sugar, marmalade and orange extract with a hand mixer until well blended. Add eggs. Beat about 2 minutes more. Spread evenly over the cookie dough. Bake 39 minutes or until crust is golden brown and center is set. Cool 1 hour before cutting.
